UMS Skeldar develops and manufactures an unmanned helicopter to support maritime, military, and public safety operations. You will be part of the production team consisting of 13 people with roles such as logisticians, production planners, material planners, and technicians. The team has overall responsibility for production, which includes planning and building helicopters as well as ground stations. You will start your position with training where you will learn the systems from the ground up. As you become more self-sufficient, you will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and eventually be able to perform all tasks independently.

The team of technicians in production currently consists of four people. In the role of Technician for production, you will:

• become a mechanical expert on our complex helicopter V200
• build complete helicopters from scratch
• assemble and implement customer adaptations on helicopters, ground stations, and other related systems within the mechanics and electronics area
• contribute to the development of the production operations and our working methods as well as work with continuous improvements.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a high school diploma in aviation technology (A1). If you have completed helicopter training (B1), have experience or education in cable manufacturing, it is a plus. Experience with Jira or assembly (FMS) is also advantageous.

The position requires high proficiency in both English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

The position requires you to have a B driver's license.
